O filme Boyhood [ler crítica] foi o grande vencedor dos Critic’s Choice Awards (Prémios da Crítica), atribuídos pela Broadcast Film Critic’s Association. A obra, que contava com oito nomeações, venceu quatro prémios, incluindo as duas principais categorias: Melhor Filme e Melhor Realizador. Para além disso, Patricia Arquette e Ellar Coltrane foram premiados, respetivamente, como Melhor Atriz Secundária e Melhor Jovem Ator.
Com 13 indicações a estes prémios, a obra de Alejandro G. Inarritu, Birdman [ler crítica], era a mais nomeada e arrecadou 7 prémios. Grand Budapest Hotel (11 nomeações) conseguiu três estatuetas: Melhor Comédia, Melhor Direção Artistica e Melhor Guarda Roupa.
Uma nota para o triunfo de Interstellar [ler crítica] como Melhor Filme de Ficção Cientifica, de Guardiões da Galáxia [ler crítica] como Melhor Filme de Ação, e de Force Majeure [ler crítica] como Melhor Filme Estrangeiro.
Recordamos que a cerimónia de entrega dos Critic’s Choice Awards decorreu ontem e vale a pena referir que nos últimos 15 anos, o prémio de melhor filme coincidiu 12 vezes com o respetivo Oscar.
