Foram divulgados os vencedores dos Emmys e Guerra dos Tronos, Chernobyl, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel e Fleabag foram os grandes conquistadores da noite.
A série baseada na obra de George RR Martin liderava com 32 nomeações e venceu 12 distinções, incluindo melhor série de drama e melhor ator secundário (Peter Dinklage no papel de Tyrion Lannister. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, da Amazon, arrecadou mais prémios nas comédias, com oito prémios, mas Fleabag levou para casa os mais importantes: melhor comédia, realizaçã, atriz e argumento (Phoebe Waller-Bridge). Nas minisséries, Chernobyl destacou-se com 10 prémios.
