O filme Force Majeure [ler crítica] foi o grande vencedor dos prémios do cinema Sueco, entregues ontem, dia 26 de janeiro, pelo Instituto Sueco do Cinema.
A obra de Ruben Östlund, ainda inédita em Portugal, arrecadou os prémios nas principais secções, incluindo as categorias de Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador, Melhor Argumento e Melhor Cinematografia. Com estes triunfos de Force Majeure, os grandes derrotados da noite foram Gentlemen (13 nomeações/2 triunfos) e A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence [ler crítica] (7 nomeações/1 triunfo).

A atriz/realizadora Norueguesa Liv Ullmann, que ainda recentemente foi homenageada no Festival de Cinema de Gotemburgo, foi a vencedora este ano do Prémio de Carreira.
