Um dia antes de serem anunciados os candidatos aos Oscars, foram divulgados os escolhidos para os Razzies, os quais premeiam o pior que passou pelas salas de cinemas em 2014. O filme Transformers: Era da Extinção lidera as nomeações, com um total de 7 indicações. Para não variar, Adam Sandler voltou mais uma vez a ser nomeado como Pior Ator.
Como grande novidade este ano temos uma novo prémio, uma espécie de redenção artística, ou seja, atores que já passaram pelos nomeados aos Razzies mas que entretanto deram a volta à sua carreira e elevaram o seu estatuto.
